Amazing Side Decks
Post here your suggestions of possible side decks for general use or VS specific decks.
Here is a my side deck choices I think would be good to share with you guys.
4-Starred Ladybug of Doom:
Is the best card to side deck in my opinion, most decks have critical level 4 monsters specially locks like Solar Flame Dragon and Hunter Owl.
Hypnocorn:
Destroys backrow or forces opponents to use possible setups. Also combos perfectly with Blast With Chains or Widespread Dud.
Anti-Magic Prism:
Some of you may notice how much I love siding this card against you guys. This card makes players that side Spell Shattering Arrow regret using it. It pretty much is a card trade off solution. Many players rather use Judgment of Anubis as a side, i rather not use it as it does bring you -1 if the opponent doesn't have a face-up monster. I would use Judgement of Anubis only if i really need a spell card alive like Heart of Clear Water or Kaiser Colosseum.
List me your favorite side deck cards or any card you believe is a worthy side deck.

hypnocorn does not work for any of that stuff, it only destroys set S/T

Hmm doesn't work with Kaiser yes :/ but it still combos with blast with chains and widespread dud
Scenario
Your opponent has two attack position monsters, you control no monsters and you have a set Widespread Dud. Summon Hypnocorn, target your set Widespread Dud (cl1), chain Widespread Dud targeting the two face-attack position monster you opponent has (cl2). Chain would resole backwards, so dud is now affecting the two monster your opponent controls and then it will be popped by Hypnocorn, thus destroying our opponents monsters.
Plus, it still gets rid of backrow heavy decks.

Re: Amazing Side Decks
actually... it doesnt combo with B&C or widespread dud because both of those need to be face up to work, even if you chain them to the effect of hypnocorn, they will no longer be legal targets and hypnocorn will resolve without effect anyways.

Now... i did some research and here is a similar example of targeting:
Player A activates "Offerings to the Doomed" and targets "Dark Magician". Player B chains "Book of Moon", targeting the same "Dark Magician". "Book of Moon" resolves first, and changes "Dark Magician" to face-down Defense Position. Then, when "Offerings to the Doomed" resolves, "Dark Magician" is not destroyed - "Offerings to the Doomed" can only target face-up monsters, and "Dark Magician" is face-down, so "Offerings to the Doomed" resolves without effect. You do not get to select a new monster to destroy.
Offerings to the Doomed:
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; destroy that target, also skip your next Draw Phase.
I'm guessing this applies similarly with Hypnocorn.

Re: Amazing Side Decks
You just proved his point. Because it asks for a specific position for the card to be in, then its eff of destroying the card will not happen since the conditions arent met at the time of resolving the effect.
